"My new song 'Hurricane Candle' is out in the world today. It's a song about my Dad. He passed away in August of 24 after living a beautiful life. I came across the phrase Hurricane Candle many years ago. I felt my Dad symbolized this kind of lantern that has a glass shell or hurricane that protects from winds at sea or from a blustery day at home. To me, my Father was both the flame and the protector of the flame. He was an inspiration to so many who knew him. His two favorite things were reading and sailing. The picture is of my Dad sailing in 1960 with my Mom in the Swedish archipelago. To my siblings and my Mother, he was our north star. He was a business leader, a US Ambassador as well as a kind and generous man. He made the world a better place. I hope you enjoy it as much as we had writing and recording it. Thank you to the folks at DubShot Records for releasing Hurricane Candle. The lyrics of Hurricane Candle were written by me and Brian Clifford. The song was produced and engineered by Mikey Bar-Lavi. Mixed by Craig Alvin. Mastered by Black Lab Mastering. Special thanks to Katie Heimbold and Jason Spiewak" – Pete Francis
