"My wife Katie did the artwork for Iron Sea and the Cavalry. I loved her fine pen drawing and the details of the landscape she drew. We also used this artwork as the invitation to our wedding. It was a crazy summer in 2007. I played three sold out nights at Madison Square Garden with Dispatch and got married in Lake George, New York the next month. Aside from doing the artwork, Katie also sang on the opening track Johnny Ocho's Lullaby. Boo Reiners played amazing lap steel, baritone, b-bender telecaster, and mandolin on much of the record. I also worked with James Wormworth on drums who is a completely unique drummer. Craig Dreyer and I continued our writing collaboration on songs like Heavenly Boat and Armies of Angels." – Pete Francis
